Haven Health was founded 10 years ago and since then, we have successfully completed almost £100 million of NHS primary and community care developments for GPs, PCTs and LHBs throughout England and Wales. The historic level of change currently taking place within the NHS, will place GPs firmly at the forefront of commissioning in the years to come with the emphasis on delivering more and improved services locally in a primary care setting. Modern, purpose build primary care premises which meet all of the Care Quality Commission standards will be absolutely essential to ensure the future viability of GP Practices. With an extensive background in business and the property sector, Yvonne was involved in high quality residential property development prior to setting up Haven Health. She established the company with the specific aim of introducing a level of quality and excellence into the design and construction of Primary Health care premises which had not previously been available.
She then went on to found a property development company and for the last seventeen years has been involved in all aspects of property development in the residential, commercial and health sector. As founder and Managing Director of Boston Haven Developments, she successfully completed a significant number of large residential and mixed-use development projects.
With this extensive and diverse background in business and the property sector, Yvonne established Haven Health Properties in the year 2000 with the specific aim of introducing a level of quality and excellence into the healthcare sector which had not hitherto been available.
Since that time, Haven Health has complete primary and community care developments to the value of almost £100 million and has firmly established a reputation as one of the leading 3PD developers in the healthcare sector. Hide >

As a Chartered Surveyor and with 20 years' experience in the property market, Michael is well placed to lead Primary Care premises projects. His involvement in the sector dates from1994 and Michael was one the of the first surveyors involved in the 3PD market place. Whilst at Lambert Smith Hampton where a considerable breadth of property experience was gained, Michael increasingly became focused on the Primary Care premises market. Part of his role was that of Strategic Property Manager for Primary Health Properties Plc – the UK's largest sector specialist investor. Significant involvement with the development of new schemes was a consistent part of the role from 1994 through to 2003.
In 2003 Michael joined Haven Health as its Development Director with a responsibility to help to grow the business. The ethos of the company was the main attraction. An excellent service combined with the delivery of high quality buildings was at the heart of the company. Michael is committed to these principles.
A team based approach is the only way to successfully manage primary care projects. Michael's track record at managing the project team in a development focused environment is evidenced by the successfully completed projects which he has led and the references that then follow from the healthcare team that are now the occupiers of those buildings. With the Government's commitment to reducing expenditure across the public sector likely to continue for a number of years, the NHS will more than ever need to ensure that it obtains value for money.
Of the many methods used to procure NHS buildings including PFI, LIFT, Procure 21 etc., none has proven more cost effective than Third Party Development (3PD). This tried and tested method enables high quality new buildings to be provided at an extremely competitive rent with absolutely no financial risk for the GPs, PCT or LHB concerned.

Ervin was a Solicitor, qualified in 1962 and was in private practice until 1998. He was the founding Partner of Halliwells, of Manchester and London.
He has also during his career been a director of several public and private companies. In particular, he was closely involved as director of and legal counsel to Kwik-Fit Holdings Plc since its listing on the London Stock Exchange in 1973 to the time of its takeover by Ford Motor Company for £1.0 billion.
Ervin was chairman of a public property company for over 10 years during which an investment portfolio of mainly commercial properties was acquired and developments in commercial and residential properties were carried out. In 2001, Ervin Landau, together with Sir Tom Farmer and Lee Goldstone, made an £86.0 million bid for Regalian plc, taking it private. During the 12 months following the takeover, the group's then current developments were completed and sold, together with its investment properties.
As a director of the Haven Health group since its inception, Ervin acts in an advisory capacity on business, legal and financial matters and is and is married to Yvonne. Hide >
